Entrepreneur, investor and author. Founder and Chairman of Bolt Practice, and Managing Partner of Bolt Capital.
Steve has more than 40 years of entrepreneurial experience. His current work has two distinct focuses: helping people and businesses think better with AI, and investing in the infrastructure and businesses that put it to use.
His longstanding support for Peace One Day sits alongside these business interests.

Bolt Practice
Steve founded Bolt Practice with Charlie, Ella and Jude Bolton. He serves as Chairman and created Bolt Method™, which helps people decide where AI belongs in their work and how to use it well.
Andy Knights leads the business as Managing Director. The team brings together experience in learning, technology, finance, brand, social impact and safeguarding.

Steve is Managing Partner of Bolt Capital. He and David Bell are the two designated members of Bolt Capital Partners LLP, whose investment work focuses on CUDO and JAAQ.
Steve brings his experience of founding and developing businesses; David contributes financial and operational experience, including his role as CFO of CUDO Ventures.

Steve is the author of three published books. His forthcoming book, Think With Me, is due on 18 September 2026 and introduces the ideas behind Bolt Practice.
His current writing considers the practical decisions that AI puts before business leaders: what to delegate, which evidence to trust and where human judgement matters most.
Wider involvement
Peace One Day
Steve is a Life Patron of Peace One Day and served as Patrons’ President from 2007 to 2017. He mentors its founder, Jeremy Gilley.
In 2010, he helped the organisation purchase a commercial property in London to provide a permanent office. It is one example of the practical support behind his long association with Peace One Day.
